workshop CFPs
A session on the Shared Task will be organized in conjunction with the
ACL/HLT BioNLP 2011 workshop on 24th June. We would like to encourage
participants to submit a manuscript describing their approach and results.
We encourage in particular manuscripts that present careful analysis and
discussion of the results, detailing the relevance and contribution of
different aspects of their approach.
Manuscripts may be submitted either as full papers (8+2 pages) or short
papers (4+2 pages):
Full papers :
Up to 8 pages (for content) + 2 pages (for references), oral presentation
Short papers :
Up to 4 pages (for content) + 2 pages (for references), oral presentation
Submissions must be electronic and in PDF format, and should follow the
two-column format of ACL/HLT proceedings. Please see the conference website
for detailed typesetting specifications. Authors are strongly encouraged to
use the style files and formatting instructions available on the ACL/HLT
conference website:
http://acl2011.org/call.shtml#submission (scroll down)
Submissions need to be anonymous. All papers will be reviewed by program
committee using a double-blind review process. Based on the reviews,
some authors may be asked to recast their submissions as short papers or
poster abstracts (2 pages).
Submission can be made via the ACL/HLT website:
https://www.softconf.com/acl2011/bionlpst/
All accepted papers will be included in the shared task section of the
BioNLP workshop proceedings and the authors will be invited to present their
work at the shared task session of the workshop.
